المستخلص

The Research aimed at adding a new unit directed to the gifted and talented preparatory-two students in the field of computer programming based on preparing programs using the Visual Basic language .
The Sample of research consisted of (18) female students taken from preparatory-two classes in Al-Nahda Preparatory School for Girls in Assiut ( 5 Gifted students – 13 Talented Gifted students ) .
The tools of research : Gift Detection Scale - Logical-Mathematical Intelligence and Spatial Intelligence-Based Activities and Tasks - A Pre-Requisites Identification Observation Sheet - An Achievement Test - A Teacher Guide and the students’ worksheets - Observation Sheets for observing ’ performance in the lessons - Dictionary that contains some vocabulary related to the Visual Basic Language .
The study came to the conclusion to some results as follows :
- There are statistically significant differences at (0.01) level between the mean scores of the research group students in both the pre-and post-administration of creative thinking as a whole favoring the post administration.
- The suggested program in programming has a big effect-size on both achievement and Creative Thinking.
- There is a statistically-significant positive correlation between the scores of the research group students in the post-administration of both the Achievement test in programming by using the Visual Basic Language and Guilford’s Creative Thinking Test.
