Abstract
This work proposes to make a comparative study among the M.K. necropolis of El- Minia and those of the other areas in Egypt in the same period through studying each necropolis ,which declares the different sides of comparison among them like the situation of the tombs , the architectural features , the subjects of the scenes represented on the walls of the tombs and finally the burial customs of ancient Egypt .
The first part ”Documents” is divided to (7) chapters as follows:
The 1st. chapter Speaks about the necropolis of El-Minia ,The 2nd. Ch. Deals with the necropolis of Aswan, The 3rd. ch. Talks about the necropolis of Qena,The 4th. ch. Deals with the necropolis of Abydos at Sohag ,The 5th. ch. Deals with the tombs of Asyut ,The 6th. ch. Speaks about the necropolis of El Fayum ,The 7th. ch. the necropolis of El-Giza .
The second Part ”Analysis” is divided to (5) chapters as follows:
The 1st. ch. speaks about the situation of the tombs of the different necropolises,The 2nd. ch. Speaks about the architectural features of the tombs, The 3rd. ch. Talks about the subjects of the scenes represented on the walls of the tombs The 4th. ch. Illustrates the relation between the nomarchs and the royal court. and the effect of this relation on the subjects of the scenes .The 5th. ch. Talks about the burial customs of ancient Egypt .
