Abstract
The main objective of this work was to study the effect of different doses of acute gamma- irradiation, from cesium- 137 source on the variability of certain characters of three plant species belonging to the family commelinacease i. e. setcreasea pallida, tradescantia fluminensis and zebrina pendula and a local cultivar from each species was used.
