المستخلص
The objectives of this study are:
1. To shed lights on the problems of agricultural labour in Minia governorate and estimate the volume of such problems.
2. To study different economical factors which effect the size of agricultural labour in the governorate.
3. To present economical polices that can deal with the problems of agricultural labour as weel as the problems of agricultural production in Minia governorate.
The results of the study could be suntherized as follows:
1. Agricultural labour force available in Minia governorate is estimated by 115.3 million man labour days. Agricultural labour force using in present actual agricultural production in the governorate is only 66.4 million man labour days. In the same times, agricultural labour force necessary for agricultural production tinder the present level of technology is about 38.4 million man labour days. This means that disguised underemplayment is about 49 million man labour days or 42.4% of total agricultural labour force available in Minia governorate.
2. Supply of agricultuTal labour force in Minia governorate is effected by real wage of agricultural labour as well as real wage of labour in non-agricultural sector and the size of rural population.
3. Demand for agricultural labour force in the governorate is effected by monetary wage for agriculutral labour as well as value of agrictikural production in the governorate. Value of agricultural production in the governorale is effected by agricultural labour force as well as value of capital inputs used in agricultural production.
