Soybeans is one of the most important oil crops in Ept the second oil crops after cotton. The study showed, that
Jeultivated area of soybeans in Egypt, increased within the
r’t1d8 1967—1981 from 623 to 109420 feddans, whil, the annual has been increased from, 579 to 1,192 tons resulting to
knoreas. of total production fmm 361 to 130360 tons at the
same period. In Assiut governorate, within the period 1972—1981, jthe cultivated area of soybeans increased from 86 to 8150 fedd— ‘71, while the annual yield has been increased from, 236 to 1,154 fjons and th, total production frora 20,274 to 9406 tons at the Sri, period.
