Sohage is considered one of the principle producing governorate of winter onion in the krab Republic of gypt. Through out the period of 1964 — 1974, onion production
of the governorate is increased from 2.3 million kentar to 5.5 million kentar.
To study production problem of onion in Sohage
governorate a sample of 530 farmers was taken randomly from Lfferent counties.
