Abstract
The present work was carried out at biotechnology laboratory, crop science department, faculty of agriculture, el- shatby, alexandria university in the period from 2008 to 2010.
The aim of this study was:
1- To determine the most suitable medium from four growth medium protocols and select the best of two different types of explants (shoot tips- lateral buds).
