Abstract

Three experiments were conducted in the Agricultural
erimental Station of the Sugar Factory at Arraant to tapare the effect of fol iage spray vdth the effect of ii application on growth, yield and chemical character— tics of the juice of sugar cane variety Co. 413, using osphoric acid, urea,magnesium sulphate, iron sulphate, sax, boric acid, aanganese sulphate and zinc sulphate. e experimental design was a coniplete randomized block echnique in all the three experiients. Replicates were hive.
Two crops were taken from every experiment. In the
three experiments, the first crop was fertilized by a ;otal 100 k.nitrogen per feddan. The ratoon was ferti— ized with a total of 114.0 kg nitrogen/feddan. Foliage pray and soil aplication of nutrients were done in ycles, each of ten days. The number of spray in every ycle varied in the different treatuents of the three xperiments.
