Abstract

Construction is a dynamic process that is becoming increasingly complex. Today construction firms are faced with unprecedented challenges in organizing, planning, and financing their projects to satisfy the field demand.
This can be done by developing a strong management and financial system that integrates the projected cash flows of all projects performed by the contractor with the available financial facilities and bank overdrafts. One of the main challenges facing construction firms success Is to keep positive cash flow and reduce maximum financing.
The objective of this research Is to help the contractor In selecting the best combination of projects from several potential projects. Thus, he will be able to keep a reasonable cash flow for his company without exceeding his available financial capabilities.
This is done through developing an Integrated model used by decision makers that would consider the company’s on-going projects, tender terms, schedules, and projected cash flow. Then use and integrate these data in selecting the most appropriate projects for the company that would maximize its profitability while not exceeding financial capabilities.
