Abstract
there is considerable current interest in plant phenolics and their potential to beneficially affect human health . this interest spans from academics and health professionals to food producers and processors, and reflects the interest in dietary components that offer benefits beyond nutrition (i.e. nutrients at levels sufficient to prevent disease due to dificiency), and may prevent degenerative diseaes and prolong life.
