Abstract
In the last century, there has been tremendous growth in ”Budget Hotels” industry which led the operation of Iraveling designs to improve their services and products in order to penetrate new markets and meet their needs. While luxury hotels have extended their services to senior travelers, business and other segments, mean while, in Egypt, there is a low quality of services and facilities provided by budget hotels. Based on this, the study dealt with the hospitality services in budget hotels, especially in Sharm Elshiekh. This study included 5 areas as follows:-
Sharm Elshiekh
Located at the south-eastern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, Sharm El Sheikh (commonly referred to as Sharm) has become one of the Middle East’s leading tourist destinations. Because of its world famous coral reefs and diverse marine life, Sharm has been very popular with the international diving community for decades, attracting a steady crowd of adventure seekers. Tourism started in Sahrm during the Israeli occupation of Sinai with the construction of a basic hotel and camping facilities in Naama bay.
Naama Bay:
That’s where it all started! Naama Bay is truly the heart of Sharm. Starting in the early seventies as a popular camping spot, the bay is now home to most international hotel chains. Surprisingly, with the voices of tourists on its beaches daily, Naama bay is still a pleasant place to swim and snorkel, which has most budget hotels at Sharm Elsheik.
