Abstract

The present study was conducted at the Rabbit Farm belonging to the Department of Animal Wealth Development, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, through the period from September 2009 to May 2010.
The experimental flock composed of three rabbit breeds; New Zealand White, Rex, and Flander. These breeds were obtained from Agricultural Company Farm, San-El-Hagar Sharkiya Governorate.
The main objectives of this investigation were to study:
1. The effect of breed, parity, litter size and parity on some milk production traits.
2. The effect of breed and parity on some Reproductive and litter traits of doe.
3. The effect of breed, comparing the performance of purebreds versus crossbreds and estimating of heterosis % and combining ability for semen quality traits.
