Abstract
cteriological examination for Escherichia coli in a total of 595 feed Stuffs The percentage of
om local feed was 7.8 % but in imported feed was 7.3 % , in cattle ration 14% , Poultry ration
inrabbit ration 6%.The predominant serogroups of Escherichia coli isolated from feed stuffs
0146,0142,020,018,0157 H7-ve, 0 157 H7. Escherichia coli 078 survived to 9 weeks,
.7 persisted in the ration to 10 weeks. Pathogenicity of Escherichia coli sero group, The
ate were 80% , 60% , 60% , 60%, 50% , 50% , 40% , 30%, 30 % , 0% . in sera groups 078,
n , 020 , 018, 0127, 0124 , 0157 H7, 044 and 0157 H7-ve respectivly . Colonization of
coli 0157 H7 in caecal wall of chicks ,the Escherichia coli can be detcted in caecal wall till
: faecal shedding of Escherichia coli 0157 : H7 continued till 6 weeks. The effect of fungi
