Abstract

A total of 583 and 68 individual quarter milk samples were collected aseptically from 295 lactating cows and 23 lactating buffaloes respectively , from different farms in egyptThe subclinical mastitis was detected among the apparentely healthy QMSOn the other hand , the incidence of clinical mastitis was detected alsoThe degree of severity of subclinical mastitis using CMT in QMS collected from apparently healthy animals was studiedThe incidence of Clostridium perfringens recovered from the QMS of subclinically mastitic cows was 392.
