Abstract
In typical production systems,ruminants derive most nutrients from for ages, the system of raising cattle and sheep in the farms of the desert development center of the American university in Cairo depends mainly on grazing practices.Beef and lambs meat are produced from forage grazing animals.The objective of this investigation is to study the response of growing calves and lambs to energy supplementation under grazing system in desert agriculture.
