المستخلص

This current study is trying to focus on stylistic properties of Leila Alakhilia`s poetry who is one of the ancient Arab poets.
Her poetry distinguished with some properties that are not available for other Arab poets; so the stylistic course is the best to show and analyze these properties. This study doesn’t keep close to certain stylistic direction, it distributes into a number of stylistic directions not to tighten vision and analysis filed and this will allow discovering the beauty of Leila poetic text and its various characteristics. This study uses some of critical courses while the nature of the study needs.
This study consists of an introduction and four chapters. The introduction shows the importance of this subject, and the causes of choosing it and following course (manner) through study and analysis.
The first chapter implies two bases: the first entitled “Leila Alakhilia, her news and her poetic arts”. The second base entitled “stylistic and the theories of speech analysis”.
The second chapter entitled “the meta physics of poetic text”; that handles three main points: the first is a theoretical entry that shows the meaning of Meta physics of poetic text. The second point entitled “the objective correlative and the administration of life in ambitious soul”. The third point entitled “seclusion on delight and delectation of desire”.
The third chapter entitled “linguistic formation” that is a study of stylistic changes that have different jobs. The study pays more attention to read the poetic images. It also handles the themes of advancing, delay, deleting, the beauty of story language, and the indications of conditional if, and elision.
The fourth and last chapter entitled “Intertextuality and opening of poetic text”; it is a reading of Leila’s poetry through literary traditions.
Then the chapter ended with the traditions of lamenting in women’s lamentation. In this theme the study shows the tradition of women’s lamentations and displays the similarity between them and Leila’s elegy. Then, it points out the difference between Leila’s elegy and these traditions and the reasons of this difference.
