Diabetes mellitus (DM) is among the oldest human disorders . ithas been presumed that DM results from inherent stresses of the modern life. diabetes mellitus affects millions of individual’s woridwide . nigella sativa volatile oil has recently been shown to possess 67 constituents’ many of which are capable of inducing beneficial pharmacological effects as hypoglycemic action. the maqnagement of diabetes mellitus is a problem . themodern dugs, including insulin and other oral hypoglycemic agents (biguanides, sulphonylurea and glucosidase inhibitors ) control the blood glucose level.
