Abstract The present investigation was carried out on sixteen heads and necks of healthy buffaloes of different ages and sexes. Thirteen heads and necks were used for gross anatomical studies of the menigeal covering of the brain, one head is used for computed tomography scanning and two heads were used for computed tomography scanning and two heads were used for histological study of the encephalic ménages. The specimens for the anatomical studies were treated by ordinary routine preservation technique. They were carefully dissected for studying the different layers of the meanings (durra mater, Arachnid and Pia mater). The morphological structure of these layers were studies. |
