Abstract The present work was conducted on eighty eight epididymis of sexually mature camels all abov 7 year old, collected from Zagazig slaughter house. The efferent ductules were 6-7 in number, originated from the extra testicular ret testis sac. The epididymis could be divided into initial, middle and terminal segments. The middle segment was further subdivided into proximal, intermediate and distal parts. The epididymis showed a slight seasonal difference in weight and length in rutting ( December to march) and non rutting season (April to June). The average weight in rutting season was about18.3gm and in non rutting season was about 14.5gm. The average length in rutting season was about 14.4cm and in non rutting season was about13.25cm. |
