Abstract
Tenoxicam (TX) is a Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug
(NSAID) belonging to oxicam group. It has an anti-inflammatory,
analgesic, antipyretic properties and is effective in the treatment of post
operative pain.
The work in this thesis is divided into three chapters:
Chapter I:
Formulation and characterization of Tenoxicam solid dispersion.
Chapter II:
Formulation and Evaluation of buccoadhesive disc containing Tenoxicam
solid dispersion.
Chapter III:
Bioavailability study of the selected buccoaadhesive disc.
