Abstract
The aim of the present study was three-fold; the frist was to determine the educational needs of patients with permanent artifical pacemaker, the second was to design a nursing intervention protocol and the third was to evaluate the impact of implementing the designed nursing intervention protocol on patients knowledge, skill and on prevention/reduction of pacemakers complications among study group compared to acontrol one
to fulfill the aim of the study, the following research hypotheses were formulated:
The mean knowledge scores of post intervention protocol will be higher then that of their per protocol mean scores for study group patients.
