Abstract
It is documented that, hospital acquired infection is a problem in
both developed and developing countries and are an important cause of
death. Nosocomial infection is a frequent and potentially lethal
complication in obstetrics. Catheter-associated urinary tract infection is
the most common nosocomial infection.
