Study Problem :
The extent of the effectiveness of a counselling program of behavior modification of stubborn child
Research Importance :
This study is the first study that aims for behavior modification of
stubborn child in Egypt , Sohag Governorate in particular .
objective : Study
This study aims to identify the effectiveness of a behavioral program for behavior modification of stubborn child of a sample of the stubborn children
Study Methodology :
This study depends on the experimental procedure .
The Sample:
The sample consists of 48 pupils males and females – Their ages range from 9-12 Years old divided into (24) experimental group, (24) control group .
The measurement tools :
1- Stubborn Child Behavior Rating Scale. adapted by / Researcher
2- Counselling program of behavior modification of stubborn child.

Statistical Tools :
- Correlation Coefficient , T-Test .
1- There are statistical differences between the averages of the individuals of the two groups (the experimental and control ) on Stubborn Child Behavior Rating Scale before applying the program.
2 - There are statistical differences between the scores of averages of the experimental group on Stubborn Child Behavior Rating Scale before and after applying the program to the advantage of the subsequent measurement .
3 - There are a statistical differences between the scores of the two groups (the experimental and control ) on Stubborn Child Behavior Rating Scale after applying the program to the advantage of the experimental group.
4- There are statistical differences between the scores of averages of the experimental group on Stubborn Child Behavior Rating Scale after and the follow up applying the program to the advantage of the subsequent measurement.
