Abstract
Venomes are key evolutionary innovations of several animal lineages,consisting in arsenal-like protein mixtures(fry et al., 2009). proteins and venom gland transcripts aim at acomplete cataloguing of molecular diversity of these biological secretions.Systematic identification of venom protein and venom gland transcripts aim at a co,plete cataloguing of molecular diversity of thes biological secretions. Achievement of such a goal is exposed to provide insight into how venoms perform their function. also, to discover novel bioactive peptides/proteins whose function could be exploited to study other biological phenomena at the physiological level.
