Abstract
The rice borer is a principal pest of rice in Egypt. The economic importance of this pest has recently increased. Accordingly, this work was undertaken in Kafr Elsheikh governorate during the period extending from 1981 to 1986 to study certain factors affecting degree of rice infestation by the borer.
