At the beginning of the twenty first century, Egypt faces a number of international and local challenges which the development of education a strategic choice without a substitute. If education in the past was a Civilization phenomenon and a means for development and progress .Thus today it became a national security and a necessity for survival .for struggle in the world nowadays is a competition in education if we had a look at the great countries which struggle for leadership today we will find it develop its educational systems and compete to develop its technology and the mechanism of its work movement we can say that the period we are living now is the age technology communication and flow of knowledge Since instruction technology was the discipline which unites between the most two important survival requirements in this age we have to care about it and to always and continuously develop it . The science of instruction technology is known by the science which studies the relation between the student and the educational resources regarding its design, production and its use, to achieve specific educational targets in the framework of educational philosophy and strategy and according to educational theories Technology, nowadays, with its renewed developed novelties, has capabilities which allow the development of instructional methods and the capability to face many present and future educational problems Learning is mainly influenced by instruction technology and modern technique, as it invests and employs it to facilitate educational services for the students according to their conditions, abilities and capabilities The most important novelties produced by the digital technology today are: Software programs prepared by the digital systems for the purpose of graphical approach to be utilized in determining and organizing the visual state of the elements and the formation haracteristics of any visual design ( ex : the design of the instructional media ) , which provides the creative designer of the instructional media with a wide variety of design pattems which he many use to show his thought and his design philosophy with the utmost accuracy in executing the instructional media . This many reduce the need for the high craftsman skill. It also make the designer dedicate to the create and invention which may increase the efficiency of the instructional media produced by the technique. The results of the previous studies showed that the instructional media presented to the students should be of certain specifications and characteristics to help them face those challenges. The results also showed that the instructional media produced at the present are limited to achieving the educational goals needed from it. It also showed that it lacks the needed accuracy and the skill needed for execution as well as its need for attracting the students which increase their motives to study and learn. The problem of the Research : The problem of the research is the limitation of the Instructional Technology department students in The Faculty of Diversified Education at Instructional Media designing skills. This requires the application of a
new method which is different from the traditional ones. In his Thesis, the researcher tries to find an answer to the main following question: What is The Effect of Using Graphic Software on Students of Instructional Technology Department in The Faculty of Diversified Education Designing Instructional Media ? The previous question can be divided into sub questions. These sub questions are: 1- What are the skills needed to be developed at the instructional media designing skills of instructional technology department students in The Faculty of Diversified Education? 2-What is the suggested vision for using computer graphic software on developing the instructional media designing skills of instructional technology department students in The Faculty of Diversified Education? 3- What is the effect of using the computer graphic software on developing the instructional media designing skills of instructional technology department students in The Faculty of Diversified Education? The hypotheses of the research : The researcher tested the correctness of the following hypotheses:1- There is a statistical difference between the average grades of the achievement test of the experimental groups and the average grades of the achievement test of the control groups for the benefit of the experimental groups. 2- There is a statistical difference between the average grades of the prior achievement pre post test for the benefit of the succeeding test. The Purpose of the research : 1- Developing the skills which students need it, through production a suggested computer graphic software. 2- It aims at defining the Effect of Using Graphic Software on Students of Instructional Technology Department in The Faculty of Diversified Education Designing Instructional Media. The importance of the research : The importance of the research springs from being useful in the following elements, Prescribing ways for Designing Instructional Media by Using Graphical approach programs . The research shares at overcoming the limitations of the Arabic researches that have mentioned the usage of computer Graphic Software. The limitations of Research : The research was limited to: 1- As for the sample, it was a sample from the second year Instructional Technology department students., ( 2009/2010). 2- As for the place, Fayoum University, The Faculty of Diversified Education. 3- As for the computer Program :
Graphic Software : 1- Photoshop .2- flash. The approach of the research : The researcher uses the experimental approach. He divides the research’s sample into two groups which are the experimental group and the control one. The research has executed the pre application of measurements tool (achievement test). After performing the experiment, the post application of the measurement’s tools have been executed (Training the experimental group on using the computer Graphic Software
and using the traditional methods with the control group). The researcher has applied tested the significance of differences between means of scores at the pre and post test for both the experiment and control groups. The procedure of the research : 1- The First step of the research was making a survey on the previous researches which have dealt with using computer Graphic Software. 2- The second step was preparing a list of the Instructional Media designing skills by using the following sources: The previous researches - The literature which has dealt with Instructional Media esigning - The questionnaires of the workers at this field such as teachers, supervisors and experts. 3- The third step was showing the primary list to a group of specialists to
define its suitability. 4- The fourth step was designing the program: 1-The principles and requirements of the program was defined such as planning, collecting data and analyzing, and finally designing the main models for the program -2- The design of the suggested program was shown to a group of supervisors to judge its objectivity in terms of : The correctness of the defined objectives - The skills list which the program will mention - The primary scenario which will be prepared by the researcher - The programming of the model. 3- The program was adjusted according to the experts recommendations. 5- The fifth step was preparing the test and showing it to a group of
supervisors to judge it. 6- The seventh step was choose the research sample. 7- The eighth step was the pre and post application of the research and writing down the results. 8- The tenth step was applying the suggested program. 9- The eleventh step was the pre and post application of the test and writing down the results as well as treating them statistically. 10- The thirteenth step: was analyzing the results and discussing them. 11- The fourteenth step: was the suggestions and recommendations. The results of The research : 1- There is a statistical difference between the average grades of the achievement test of the experimental groups and the average grades of the achievement test of the control groups for the benefit of the experimental groups. 2- There is a statistical difference between the average grades of the prior achievement pre post test for the benefit of the succeeding test .
