Abstract The present work was carried out during 1996 and 1997 seasons at ’ experimental farm Sakha Agricultural Research.9tation on young trees of three years age of two varieties of(Citrus sinensis L.) Navel and Valencia prange varieties. The following treatments were used by the end of March in the two seasons of the experiment : 1- Mycorrhizae (Glomus fasiculatum) at rate of 15 gm/tree ( 150-160 chlamydospore 2- Sewage sludge at rate of 3 kg/tree. 3- Sulphur was added to the soil at rate of one kg/tree. The following points were studied : 1- Some soil properties. 2- Vegetative growth, leaf area and chlorophyll (a, band total) 3- Some macro (N, P, K) and micro (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu) nutrient elements of leaves, shoots and roots. The results can be summarized as follow : 1. Soil properties : Data showed that soil pH was slightly decreased with applying mycorrhizae in comparison with control in all soil depths, while SAR, Ec were slightly decreased with applying mycorrhizae, soluble anions did not affected and available k in soil was slightly increased with applying mycorrhizae, also values of soil pH were slightly decreased with applying |
