Roses are one of the most important and economical florist crops all over the world. Rose flower, which is known as the queen of flowers, belongs to family Rosaceae. According to Harris (1969), the genus Rosa appears to be indigenous only to the northern hemisphere. it seems to have been originated in the east. probably in china and india. The genus Rosa includes different species, many of which are used for cut flower, in beds, in hedges and borders in gardens. some others species have other economical purposes. In Egypt, roses may consists a reasonable source of hard currency, since a lot of roses is demanded in Europe.
