Abstract
-Cotton is the major economic crop in A.R.E. This
crop is subjected to attack by several insect pests during
the growing season. Some of these insect pests are
very serious such as the cotton bollworms; the pink
bollworm, Pectinophora gossypiella (Saund.) and the
spiny bollworm, Earias insulana (Boisd.). Thus, the
present study was carried out at the Faculty of Agriculture,
Kafr El-Sheikh, Tanta University during seasons
1983-1987 for the following objectives:
