Abstract
hypertension is the most common disease encountered in modern society.in spite of extensive research conducted in animal and hypertensive patients, there been little investigations performed that answers the many questions that anaesthesiologists and surgeons face in establishing the degree of risk imposed by hypertension in surgical patients.
