Abstract

The aim of thesis master is to analysis the application methods of quality techniques in three of the Egyptian factories available and to evaluate qualitative control systems for the factories under study. The last century the quality control systems had been developed from quality inspection technique to six sigma organization. These systems had been improved and applied due to the adoption of statistical concept in to them. At the beginning the aim was not to introduce a defective quality to the consumer while at the end it consist of introducing to the consumer what he hope to obtain. The aim of this work is to Analysis the application methods of quality techniques in three of the Egyptian factories available and to Evaluate qualitative control systems for the factories under study. Two factories have the ISO 9000 certificate while the third factory not have the ISO 9000 certificate so .The evaluation was done in the factories under study starting from the inspection of fabric, inspection after the cutting, inspection of sewing and finally to the final inspection of the product. After evaluating the quality policy of three factories under study it can be concluded that: The percentage rejected product is very high in the three factories and attains about twenty percent in some cases. The dark colors affect to a great extent the percentage reject products and the big sizes have a great effect on the second quality products in all the factories under study. An overall loss of about eight to twelve percent can be attained in the factory due to lack of control. Finally the quality control system and standards has to be revised to enable the factory to compute with the international standards.
