Abstract In conclusion this study showed that males presented more frequently because of short stature than females, as all the patients who presented during the study period were males. It was obvious that both children and parents were more concerned about height than about delayed puberty, and almost all were convinced that the treatment would be growth hormone and not gonadal steroids. Most were of low socioeconomic status, and most patients had reduced caloric intake, as well as vitamin A intake. |
