Abstract
These investigations were designed to examine yhe spectrum and levels of airborne fungi in 12 operation rooms and other 12 intensive care units as well as the fungi in dust collected from air conditions in both of them in Assiut University Hospitals. The potentialities of 110 isolates of fungi isolated in this study for theirability to produce extracellular enzymes and mycotoxins as well as the control of the growth of some selected fungi using some essential volatile plant oils were examined.
