Abstract Metal and naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) accumulations in agricultural soils through fertilizer use, waste discharagers, and human activities have been public concern due to due to their potential risk to the environment and human health. Concentrations of NORM and major and trace elements were measured in water and sediment from irrigation canals and nile river in a 120 km2 agricultural area in beheira governorate in the western side of rosetta branch to evaluate the impact of agricultural practices. |
