The study of the types of rural settlements in Nabarouh district represents anew addition to the map of settlements in Egypt.
The study has reached the following finding thus , the study aims at showing the beneficial applicable side of geography ”activity settlement to rural development process in Nabarouh” district , determine of amount of sprawl settlement on the agricultural land and the development of character of rural housing.
The title of the study is contains six chapters preceded by an introduction and a preface , and followed by a conclusion wich deals with main results suggestions , and recommendation.
The first chapter deals with the geographical boundaries of construction dimensions in the study area with its importance such as : local this district , area & shape and land use pictures , as passed also the area of study has been subject a lot of development in terms of settlement and administration , which reflects a vivid picture of the geographical circumstances to through out the consecutive Historical period.
The second chapter of the research concentrated on the geographical factors which affected in the distribution of the settlement system building material and economic activity. the physical factors such as superficial deposits surface features and the apparent discrepancies in soil characteristics between one area and other has also tackled the human factors such as population in terms of annual growth , density population and distribution , in addition a numbers of cultural factors such as the sub roads canal and drains affect in attracting settlement near them moreover.
The third chapter deals with the settlement centers spread unevenly in study area , in addition also the study distribution pattern of the village in study area such as coefficient of dispersion , coefficient of the central and peripheral and spacing and others.
The fourth chapter deals with classification of rural settlement central in Nabarouh district . the study shown : the most of the village are characterized by compact shapes , in addition shown variation in the population size and the study of functional classification has shown the existence of seven main functional pattern.
The fifth chapter : the study of the types housing has been effected in terms of the level of settlement , the outside shape , the internal structure and by the economic and social circumstances of the population in the study area. There are object of shown in five chapter. Despite discrepancy in the district’s previous features a great similarity is found between building material red brick and geological structure of district.
The sixth chapter illustrates the variation in the settlement in valuation to the location of the villages which represent of the village and the relation of this to size and level of settlement building plan’s , the system of land use and economic activity of the population in the conclusions , the main results are shown with reference to some recommendations that can be used in. I’ am proving the rural side of the Nabarouh district.
