Abstract
The present work has focused on the synthesis of 1,3,4-oxadiazoles and related compounds which possess considerable synthetic and pharmaceutical interest. Anticancer and antioxidant evaluation of some selected 1,3,4-oxadiazoles were also considered.
The material presented in this work is separated into two main parts:
The first part: is synthetic part which discuss the synthesis and reactions of N-(cyanomethyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)benzamide.
The second part: deals with biological evaluation of some selected new synthesized compounds as anticancer agents and antioxidant agents.
