Abstract
The aim of the present study was to determine the degree of hepatic steatosis and its relationship to necroinflammation and fibrosis in untreated patients with chronic hepatitis C and to determine whether hepatic steatosis was associated with worsening hepatic fibrosis in a paired liver biopsy study.
