Abstract The present study aimed to investigate the effect of some feed additives such as bentonite +urea or kemzyme on productive, reproductive and behavioral performances of New Zealand rabbit does. Ten New Zealand White bucks and thirty female New Zealand White does of about 3-months age and average body weight (2000 g) were randomly selected and used for the experimental work one month later, during which the rabbits were gradually adapted to diet supplemented with {kemzyme (K) or bentonite plus urea (B+U)}. The doe rabbits were randomly assigned into three dietary treatments each of 10 animals. Diets were designated as control (basal ration), urea + bentonite eo-supplemented {I %urea+ 2.5% sodium bentonite} and those of the third group was supplemented with ”Kemzyme” (0.5%) a multi-enzyme blend of Kemin Agrifoods Europe, containing of 3000 u/g beta-glucanase, 5000 u/g cellulase, 450 u/g alfa- amylase and 450 u/g protease and lipase. Rabbit bucks were given the diet of control. |
