Problem of the study: lack of social studies curriculum in Yemen in the recruitment of the manifestations of civilization Yemen for the development of national identity and values of heritage preservation and tourism.
Actions:
- Preparation of a proposed program in the history of civilization is based on the manifestations of Yemen.
- A guide for the teacher in the proposed program in the history of civilization based on the manifestations of Yemen.
- Preparation of test Thesela - a measure of the values of national belonging - a measure of the tendency to preserve the heritage and tourism.
- Selection of the study group of students from first grade secondary school in Sana’a - Sana’a.
- Application of tools for the study on a sample survey and conduct the appropriate statistical methods to get the results.
Results:
The study found that there were statistically significant differences between the average grades students study sample in the application of tribal and dimensional application of the test grades for the dimensions of the application. The validity of this hypothesis is accepted the first of the hypotheses of the study.
As demonstrated by the results of the study and a hypothesis of statistical significance between the average grades students study sample in the application and the application of tribal dimensional scale values of national identity in favor of the results of dimensional application.
The results of the study there were statistically significant differences between the average grades students study sample in the application and the application of tribal dimensional scale trend towards preserving the heritage and tourism for the benefit of the results of dimensional application.
The study also found that there was no statistically significant differences between the average grades students study sample Benin and daughters in the application for each of the dimensional achievement test and measure the values of national belonging and the measure of the trend towards preserving the heritage and tourism, according to the variable of sex.
The study proved a correlation of statistical significance is very high and the positive impact of the proposed program of study in history based on the manifestations of civilization, Yemen and the high level of grades and the development of the values of national belonging and the level of the trend towards heritage preservation and tourism among students in the study sample.
Through previous results illustrated the presence of a positive impact by 90%, and the correlation of statistical significance is very high among the high level of collection of historical information and raise the level of development of the values of national belonging and the high level direction towards maintaining the heritage and according to a study of the proposed program in history based on the manifestations of civilization of Yemen.
