المستخلص

The present study aimed at evaluating science curriculums at the primary stage in the light of the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). The researcher designed and prepared the instruments of the study, A questionnaire for the standards of the NAQAAE (2009) used for evaluating science curricula in the primary stage, tools of the research A tool for evaluating science curricula in the primary school in the light of the standards of the NAQAAE, and observation card for observing the performance of the science teachers in the light of the standards of the NAQAAE(2009), health & environmental information test , Health & environmental attitude scale, thinking skills test, The present study reached the following results, Decline of the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education NAQAAE (2009) in science books in the 4th , 5th and 6th years at primary stag, So science curriculums need to be revised and developed, Science teachers performance doesn’t meet the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, The effectiveness of the developed curriculum in the development of environmental and health literacy and thinking skills test, In the light of these results, the researcher presented some recommendations of the study and suggested researches.
