Abstract
In this study 300 samples were collected from chicken, ducks lungs and air sample to isolate Aspergillus tiimigetus. Chicken lung specimen collected from 100 cases showing respiratory disordes and J 00 samples were collected from suddenly died chicks, while 50 samples were collected from suddenly died ducks and fifty samples of air from different 20 farms. All collected samples were cultured on SDA with chloramphenicol for isolation Aspergillus tiimigetes. from chicken lung sample, 9 Aspergillus Iumigetus isolates were obtained in percentage 4.5%. from duck lung samples one Aspergillus riumige tes was obtained in percentage 2% and for air samples only one A iumigetus isolates was obtained in percentage 2%. The total Aspergillus iumigetus werc Ll isolates with percentage of3.66% Identification of Aspergillus iumigetus colonies as it has a
diameter of approximately 3 to 4cm in 7 days. The flat colonies are white at first, then bluish green as conidia begin to mature, especially near to the center of the colony. As the colony matures, conidial masses become gray-green, while the colony edge remains white. A distinctive feature of A tumigetus is the development of columnar . masses of chains of conidia arising from the vesicle. These conidial chains can reach a length of up to 400 11.
