Abstract
periarthritis of the shoulder as a condition of uncertain etiology characterized by significant restriction of both active and passive shoulder motion that occurs in absence of a known intrinsic shoulder disorder.. It has been classified into two forms; 1ry and 2ry. In the 1ry form, there’s no known precipitating event can be identified. The 2ry form is associated with other illness or events such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, cardiac disease and surgery .The aim of the work is to compare the therapeutic effect of supra scapular nerve block, periarticular steroid injection and pulsed ultrasound in the management of periarthritis shoulder.
