Abstract
-Rice blast disease caused by Pvricul aria grisea IS one of the important diseases in Egypt as well as in most of the rice growing countries. This study was conducted to clarify some important aspects concerning determination of physiological races of the fungus. relationship betweencertain pathogen isolates by polymerase chain reaction (PtR). effect of N-rates on some disease characters and grain yield at different growth st,1ges and effect of di fferent sowing dates 011 some disease characters and grain yield.
