Abstract Four experiments were achieved to evaluate the root exudates released from some Egyptian plant species and cultivars differ in their Fe and Zn deficiency resistances. Investigation was performed for mobility and uptake of these micronutrients in relation to the various combination ratios of efficient and inefficient cultivars grown together in nutrient solution. Finally, the flat box technique was used to investigate the mobilization and uptake of insoluble forms of iron and zinc by growing some plant cultivars on calcareous soils. |
