Abstract
Various viruses have been recovered from the fetus, but only rubella virus, cytomegalovirus, herpes virus homonis and possible varicella zoster virus are teratogenic others that may reach the fetus include the viruses causing meales rubeola small pox variola,vaccinia,poliomyelitis,hepatitis,and mumps.
