Abstract The present work was carried out in the nursery and laboratory of floriculture, faculty of agriculture, minia university during the two successive seasons of 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 to investigate the effect of organic manure. Objectives: Agriculture Clean Sage and Production Plants in a healthy and Safe manner Rights. Methods & Results: The present work was carried out in the Nursery and Laboratory of Floriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Minia University during the two successive seasons of 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 to investigate the effect of organic manure, in form of farmyard manure (FYM) and biofertilization treatments on vegetative growth traits, essential oil yield and some chemical composition of sage (Salvia officinlis,L) plants. In this regard, two factors were examined, the first factor (A) was farmyard manure (FYM) applied at 0,15,25 and 35m3/fed.,while the second factor(B)was biofertilization treatments and control treatments. Biofertilizers (commercial products) in forms of phosphorein (phos.) and/ or Minia Azotein (M.A.)and active dry yeast (ADY)were used in this research, the interaction between main plot and sub – plot (AxB) was tested. Conclusion: It may be concluded that for enhancing vegetative growth traits, essential oil yield, it is recommended to supply sage plants with FYM at 35 m3/fed. And treating the plants with phosphorein(0.2 g /plant) and spray plants with active yeast (5g /l.). |
