Abstract
The importance of good antenatal care in the prevention of maternal and perinatal health problems is now generally recognised.
Better standerds of antenal care had contributed to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality andmorbidity.
The aim of the study was to assess the knoledge of the nurses and pregnant mothers on antenatal care and to identify the sources of the mother’s information and the role of the indwifery nurses in spreading konwledge among consumers of MCH centres.
