The sttudy evalluatted tthe effffectt off ffllushiing wiitth prrotteiin and/orr
enerrgy suppllementts on perrcenttage off ttwiins,, miillk prroducttiion and tthe
grrowtth off prrogeny as wellll as iitts effffectt on diigesttiibiilliitty coeffffiiciientts,, nuttrriittiive
vallues,, body condiittiion scorre and prroducttiive perrfforrmance off prregnancy
ewes.. The study iinclluded tthrree experriimentts:: ffllushiing effffectts,, diigesttiibilliitty
ttrraiills and grrowtth experriimentt on prrogeny.. The sttudy iinvollved tthe ffollllowiing
parrametterrs off ewes and offffsprriing:: lliitttterr siize att biirrtth ((LSB)),, lliitttterr siize att
weaniing ((LSW)),, mean llamb weiightt att biirrtth (MLWB)),, mean llamb weiight att
weaniing ((MLWW)).. Morreoverr,, body weiightt ((BW)),, body weiightt gaiin ((BWG)),,

IIn ffllushed ewes by prrotteiin--enerrgy--based suppllementtattiion,, enhanced ttheiirr
nuttrriittiionall effffiiciiency,, tthe iinciidence off ttwiinniing iincrreased att 5 % comparred
wiitth unffllushed ewes and/orr ffllushed ewes by enerrgy--based
suppllementtattiion ffollllowed by ffllushed ewes by prrotteiin--based
