Abstract

Based on this work, the following conclusions can be taken into consideration :
A- Unfilled polyester composites
1- Increase of com oil in polyester composites decreases friction coefficient to 0.28 under low loads.
2- Almond, coconut, com, olives, paraffin and sunflower oils decreases wear of polyester composites.
3 - Glycerin, lettuce and rocket oils increases wear of polyester composites.
1- Friction coefficient decreases to 0.245 as fiber content increase to 5 vol. % 2- Remarkable decreases in friction coefficient to 0.107 was observed for composite impregnated by 10 vol. % olive oil and 4 vol. % fiber.
3- Addition of sunflower oil in polyegter compogiteg decreases wear to 0.196 mm3 for composite of 10 vol. % oil and 5 vol. % fiber.
1- Composites impregnated by com oil shows good Tribological behavior, friction decreases to 0.133 for composite of 5 vol. % oil content, and 3.8 vol. % fiber content.
2- Addition of olive oil to polyester composites show good wear results, Wear decreases 0.196 mm3 for composite of 10 vol. % oil and 9.7 vol. % fiber content.
1- Friction coefficient decreases to 0.167 for composites impregnated by 5 vol. % paraffin oil and 5.4 vol. % fiber content. And wear decreases to
, 0.lmm3.
2- Composites impregnated by 10 vol. % glycerin oil and 1.08 vol. % fiber show high friction coefficient 0.415, And maximum wear 3.92 mm3.
