Abstract This study aimed mainly to identify the role of rural woman in breeding and caring animals as well as identifying some personal, social, economical variables for the rural woman and its relationship with her performance . It also aims to identify the contribution of each independent variables that will be used to explain the total Varaity in the role of rural woman in breeding and caring animals. In order to accomplish these objectives, this study conducted in four largest Countries in Baghdad governorate. Total families contributed in this study are 995 families .we selected a random sample of 277 families (27.8%)from the total families. Data collected through a questionaire forms during personal interview with rural women as well as SPSS analysis data and applied percentages , Frequencies, arithmetic mean, standard deviations, Person simple Correlation coefficient, Chi-square test,the step – wise multiple regression analysis to conclude results . The most important results of study are as the following: The study showed that 61% of the rural women about 17-37ages ,42% of the women were illiterates , 84% most women were working without money,85% from the women who were from middle and high non of helical contribution , Less than two thirds (62%) of the women were high innovation ,most of them (87%) were low income, most of them were equivalent in owning the electrical machines, they were equivalent in possessing animals either the middle or the low classes about 34%.most rural women desire to have loans to establish small project. Two thirds of rural women (66.4%) should high performance in breeding animals, (27.1%) average performance, (6.5%) low performance There were significant relationships between their performances, ages, working, and innovation , owning the electrical machines and their desire to have loan , there were no significant relationships with formal education, non formal participation, income, animal production ownership. The most prominent independent variables which contributed to explain Varaity in their performance in breeding animals are: innovation, owning the electrical machines and age. |
